Closing the loop!

We received about 60 response to our Night Safety Campaign which has provided us with a lot of information to digest. We have completed a short overview of responses below. 

We would like to say thank you to everyone who got involved and took the time to complete the survey. Your feedback is very much appreciated and will be used to help make Blaby District safer.

Overall it was a mostly positive response to our survey.

Most people feel safe within the area however 13.49% were either dissatisfied or unhappy. 

The specific reasons as to why the 13.49% feel the way about Blaby District vary, however a few of the main points which were mentioned were; lack of cleanliness, groups hanging around causing people to feel intimidated and no sense of community. 

Majority of our respondents would also avoid the area after dark. 

We asked how the area can be improved and the top suggestion was, more lighting along with cleaner streets. 

Overall, we had a positive response to our survey and we aim to use this information to make a difference in the community.
